January Mission Focus: Brazil
Student Scholarships
FPC’s mission focus for January is targeting a critical need each year for the students at Bethel School in Felipe Camarão Brazil: closing the financial gap for our poorest students.
Bethel School exists to serve the marginalized: those students who fall through the cracks in Brazil’s public education system and who have historically dropped out by the third grade. For nearly twenty years, Bethel School has prepared students in the margins to successfully continue their education through high school and beyond, something that would have been nearly impossible for these kids without the nurture of a Christ-centered learning environment like Bethel School…
Spring 2026 Home Group Study
New Year, New Journey: Join Our Discipleship Study
As we step into 2026, what better way to start fresh than by diving deeper into what it truly means to follow Jesus?
Beginning this January, our Home Groups are launching a dynamic 14-week study titled “Discipleship: What It Really Means to Follow Jesus.” Whether you’re new to faith or have walked with Christ for years, this series will challenge, inspire, and equip you to live as a wholehearted disciple in everyday life.
Loving One Another
Recognized biblically as a gift, hospitality invites treating others with kindness, and mirroring the grace that we have received in Christ. For some, hospitality may be experienced in a simple phone call, or a note of encouragement, perhaps even a conversation over a cup of coffee. For others, hospitality is experienced through the gift of food, with a meal received at the right moment.
At FPC we have a very active Care Committee (Congregational Care) who share the gift of hospitality in each of these ways as well as other ways. Would you consider exploring your gift for hospitality with the church?
