School Supply Drive for Fairmount Elementary

First Presbyterian Church is joyfully renewing our summer tradition of supporting our neighborhood school partner, Fairmount Elementary School. What began as a simple act of kindness has grown into a steady, heartfelt partnership—one that reflects our commitment to caring for children, families, and educators right here in Bristol.

When a church community comes alongside a school, something beautiful happens: students feel supported, teachers feel equipped, and families feel seen. Providing classroom supplies may seem small, but these gifts make a real difference. They ease financial strain for parents, strengthen teachers’ daily work, and help students stay confident and ready to learn.

Fairmount’s staff continues to express deep gratitude for FPC’s generosity over the years. We are honored to walk with them and to invest in the flourishing of every child who walks through their doors.

How You Can Help

Throughout July, please bring school supply donations (see list of items needed) to the collection bins located outside the Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary. Donations may also be dropped off during office hours, Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Please note: we are not collecting monetary donations at this time.
