First Time?
We’re glad you’re here!
Whether you have been a Christian for many years or you are new to church, we are glad you are checking us out. Here you’ll find what to expect on your first visit. We look forward to seeing you!

Weekly on Sunday:
9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship in the Fellowship Hall, led by First Presbyterian Church’s Praise Band.
11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary, led by the Sanctuary Choir.
There are opportunities for Sunday School, Bible Study, and Fellowship from 10:20-10:50 for all age groups.
The Lord’s Supper is served the first Sunday of every month in both services.
Baptisms may be scheduled for either service.
On certain occasions, we combine our two regular services into one. When this occurs, an announcement will be prominently displayed on the church’s website homepage, Facebook page, and in the church’s newsletter.
Special Services:
Occasionally, we offer special services, such as our annual Christmas Eve Service, as well as Advent, Epiphany, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunrise Services.

Generally, both Sunday worship services are 60 to 75 minutes long. Each begin with music, scripture, and prayer and features an inspiring message that both encourages and challenges us to grow in our walk with Jesus.

When you come, you’ll likely see folks wearing a little bit of everything, from very, very casual to a little bit “churchy.” We really don’t have a dress code, nor do we care what you wear. What we care about is YOU. Bring you. Be you.

Kids are one of our greatest priorities! There are exciting ministries for each age group, from nursery through college.
Find out more by clicking on each age group…

After the worship service, stop by our Welcome Station — you’ll find it right outside the worship area in the hall or lobby. We’ll have a small gift for you as well as some additional information.

The best way to get connected into the FPC Bristol family is to join a Sunday School class, a Bible study group, a small group home group, or one of the teams that serve our community or global mission partners.
You’ll find several additional ways on this page. Happy exploring!

Our church emphasizes its shared unity of faith in Jesus Christ, as he is attested in Scripture, over all other values, identities, theological systems, and markers of belonging (1 Corinthians 2:2).
